Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Job Summary:
∎ Fashion Innovators Inc. is seeking a skilled Garment Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of garment construction and production processes. This role involves working closely with our design and production teams to ensure high-quality standards are met for all our products.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ Collaborate with designers to create technical specifications for new garments.
∎ Oversee sample development and production processes.
∎ Conduct quality control checks on samples and finished products.
∎ Troubleshoot technical issues in garment construction and suggest improvements.
∎ Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
∎ Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
∎ Qualifications and Skills:
∎ Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Designing, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
∎ Minimum of 1 year of experience in a garment technologist role.
∎ Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and production techniques.
∎ Proficient in using CAD software, illustrator and other design tools.
∎ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
∎ Attention to detail and a passion for fashion.
