  • Strong knowledge of NestJS (Node.js framework) and Python.

  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments, shell scripting, and monitoring tools.

  • Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and application logs.

  • Willingness to work in a 24/7 rotational shift environment.



Responsibilities & Context:

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Software Support Engineer with expertise in NextJS, NestJS, Python, MySQL, and PostgreSQL to provide round-the-clock application support, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure system reliability. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in rotational shifts and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain seamless business operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide L1/L2 technical support for applications built on NextJS, NestJS, Python, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.

  • Monitor system health, respond to incidents, and resolve issues within defined SLAs.

  • Troubleshoot issues through log analysis, API debugging, and SQL queries.

  • Collaborate with the development team to fix bugs, patch issues, and improve system stability.

  • Create and maintain support scripts/tools for task automation and performance monitoring.

  • Document incidents, solutions, and known issues in the knowledge base.

  • Assist in deployment and configuration activities during releases.

  • Provide end-user assistance for software-related queries.

  • Escalate unresolved or critical issues to the appropriate teams and follow up until resolution.
