Responsibilities & Context:

Bangladesh Association for Community Education (BACE) a non-government, non-profit making voluntary organization was established in 1977 by a group of distinguished individuals concerned with education and human resource development of Bangladesh.

Considering the unemployment Problems in Bangladesh, BACE established 07 Vocational Training Centers in different areas of Bangladesh. Among these BACE Mitali Training Centre (BMTC) was established in 1999 at Birgonj Upazila of Dinajpur district where the following trade course are running.

  • Mechanical

  • Electrical

  • Automobile

  • Sewing and Embroidery

  • Computer and IT.

In each year about 360 trainees complete their graduation courses (3-6 months courses) and seek employment opportunities. The post of Job Placement Coordinator has been created to assist the graduates in getting suitable job as per their skills.

Contract Types and Duration:

  • This is a Project based contract. The position is contingent on the availability of project fund and satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Job Placement for the graduate trainees.

  • Expertise to develop effective coordination among employers, employee (graduate students) and private sector organizations, industries for effective implementation of the vocational skills training Program, apprenticeship, internship and employment support for the graduate students.

  • Expertise on provide mentorship to trainees through their learning, Job searches, job applications and career development (CV writing, interview session etc.)

  • Public relation skills.

  • Match candidate profiles with job opening and arrange interview.

  • Maintain an updated database of graduates and placement records.

  • Provide career counseling and job readiness support to trainees.

  • Follow-up post -placement to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues.

  • Work closely with the training team to align skills with job market needs.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the management.



Job Other Benifits:
    • Salary: Tk. 30,000 (consolidated)
