• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Technology

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Network Administration:

• Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Configure and manage network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to minimize downtime.
• Implement and manage VPNs for secure remote access.• Collaborate with vendors to procure and manage network equipment.

Cyber-Security Management:

• Develop and enforce IT security policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Implement and maintain security solutions, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis.
• Monitor systems for suspicious activities, investigating and responding to security incidents.
• Manage user access controls, including identity and access management (IAM) solutions.

System and Data Protection:

• Ensure data integrity and availability through regular backups and disaster recovery planning.
• Apply security patches and updates to operating systems, applications, and hardware.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, HIPAA).

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate documentation of network and security configurations.
• Prepare incident reports, risk assessments, and compliance audits.
• Develop training materials and educate staff on cybersecurity best practices.

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:

• Work with cross-functional teams to align IT security strategies with business objectives.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and evolving cyber threats.
• Propose improvements to enhance network performance and security posture.
