Education:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Fisheries
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Development Studies
• Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Fisheries

• Graduate with honors in Fisheries, Agriculture, Livestock, Environmental Science, Forestry, Social Science/Social Work, Economics, Development studies from any public university.

• Age At most 35 years

• Maximum 35 years as on the date of publication of the advertisement.

• Driving License: Must be proficient in riding a motorcycle and a valid driving license will be given priority.

• Technological Literacy: Must be proficient in operating an Android phone.

• Others: Photography, own motorcycle and Android phone will be considered as special qualifications.

Satkhira Unnayan Sangstha (SUS), a non-governmental voluntary organization (MRA lisence No: 00895-00696-00225) working in the Khulna Division (Satkhira, Khulna, Bagerhat, Jessore, Narail and Jhenaidah districts), has been conducting various development activities with the funding of PKSF and donor agencies for the development of the poor in the southwestern coastal region. Satkhira Unnayan Sangstha (SUS) will appoint a number of entrepreneurial officers to create entrepreneurs at the marginal level to address the adverse impact of climate change on the environment, fisheries, agriculture, livestock sectors, and forest land restructuring in the coastal region.

Responsibilities:

• Training to beneficiaries in fisheries, agriculture, livestock, environment, forestry and developing training modules, setting up exhibitions of modern farming technologies, conducting various piloting, trials, case studies, research, evaluation, monitoring, etc., to play an active role in providing necessary information.

• Obtaining technical services to entrepreneurs at the field level, providing local services in collaboration with the private sector, establishing effective connections between farmers and suppliers of safe farming materials in fisheries, agriculture, livestock, etc.

• Increasing production through modern technology, creating initiatives through skill development and using new technologies for members.

• Preparing business plans for entrepreneurs on environmental issues due to climate change, developing market systems, providing assistance in the production and marketing of more profitable products.

• Providing advice to entrepreneurs by assessing the impact of climate change on the fisheries, agriculture, livestock sectors of the southwestern region.

• Regular field visits, monitoring important activities to achieve the project goals and providing necessary advice.

• To increase the knowledge of entrepreneurs about nutrition and to undertake various activities to improve the nutritional quality of the family.

• To carry out offsite and onsite monitoring of the work implemented in the field.

• To prepare various progress reports according to the type of project, prepare project proposals on new concepts for requirement to the donor agency.

• In addition, to be proactive in completing other project-related activities provided by the organization in a timely manner.

• Salary: Monthly honorarium of 20,000/- Taka will be paid for 6 months during the training period.

• After successful completion of the training, employment will be recruitment in the Microfinance or project based on educational qualifications.

• Salary may be increased up to a maximum of 05 percent annually based on the evaluation of the organization every year.
