Position Summary
The Principal / Head of School will serve as the overall focal person responsible for the strategic leadership, administration, coordination, and day-to-day management of the Vocational School. The position will ensure effective implementation of educational and ICT-based learning activities, maintain quality standards, coordinate with key stakeholders, and ensure smooth operation of all school functions in compliance with project objectives, donor requirements, and humanitarian standards.
Key Responsibilities
School Leadership and Management
Provide overall leadership and operational oversight of the school and ensure smooth implementation of all project activities.
Develop implementation plans, schedules, and operational strategies aligned with project goals and timelines.
Ensure effective management of academic, administrative, and operational activities.
Staff Supervision
Supervise and manage teachers, facilitators, support staff, and administrative personnel.
Conduct regular staff meetings and monitor staff performance.
Provide mentoring and technical guidance to improve implementation quality.
Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate with RRRC, Camp-in-Charge (CiC) Office, Education Sector partners, community leaders, and relevant stakeholders.
Represent ASEAB and maintain effective communication with government and humanitarian partners.
Program Quality and Reporting
Ensure quality implementation of academic and ICT training activities.
Monitor student attendance, learning progress, and overall school performance.
Prepare narrative reports, implementation updates, and maintain project documentation.
Safeguarding and Compliance
Ensure implementation of safeguarding, child protection, gender equality, inclusion, and PSEA standards.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and learner-friendly environment.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and camp regulations.
