Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct thorough and comprehensive audits of warehouse operations, including inventory management, logistics, and internal control systems.
∎ Assess risks associated with warehouse activities and develop strategies to mitigate potential threats.
∎ Verify compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
∎ Perform regular and ad-hoc inventory counts to ensure accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
∎ Evaluate the efficiency of warehouse processes and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
∎ Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and action plans for management review.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement necessary changes and monitor their effectiveness.
∎ Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure the warehouse maintains compliance and operational excellence.
∎ Provide training and guidance to warehouse staff on internal control procedures and compliance measures.
∎ Support external audits and regulatory inspections as necessary.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 32 years
∎ Proven experience in internal auditing, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
∎ Strong knowledge of warehouse management practices, inventory control, and supply chain operations.
∎ Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
∎ Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data and financial information.
∎ Exceptional attention to detail and the capacity to identify potential risks and discrepancies.
∎ Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
∎ Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
