Job Responsibilities:
∎ The interns will contribute to the proper implementation of "Academy of Work- AoW" and/or climate change projects and will be assigned to support to their supervisor to:
∎ Organise events, including seminar, training, and workshop;
∎ Create, plan, and coordinate outreach and communication activities with partners and participants;
∎ Maintain records, keep tracking of budget expenses and ensure authenticity of bills and vouchers;
∎ Prepare meeting minutes and follow up with the decisions of the meetings;
∎ Procure programme logistics, and provide them to the partners and participants;
∎ Review literature, and do online research for gathering information and check the data validity;
∎ Perform any other duties and responsibilities delegated or advised by the Programme Advisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Current university students having completed 2nd year and above of their studies or post-grad students.
∎ A study background in political science, sociology, development studies, law, economics, public administration, gender studies, environmental studies, or international relations has proven to be the most advantageous.
∎ Good in English communication
∎ Good writing skills in both Bangla and English.
∎ Fundamental knowledge of MS-word, MS-excel and MS-power point.
∎ Knowledge of and support to the ideas of social democracy.
Salary:
∎ This is a paid internship. Therefore, FES Bangladesh will offer an allowance as per its financial guideline.
