Job Context:
∎ The Bangladesh Association for Community Education (BACE) is a national NGO established in 1977 by a group of distinguished individuals concerned with education and human resources development to the disadvantaged people in Bangladesh.
∎ BACE is implementing various programs to improve socio-economic condition of poor people living in several districts of Bangladesh. Now the BACE is going to establish a skill development training center in Jamalpur district which will be start from January 2022. BACE will recruit the following position for its climate change project.
∎ "Instructor" will be responsible for running and supervising and overall management of Industrial Sewing Trade.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ S/he will manage and run the industrial sewing trade.
∎ S/he will look after the advertisement on student admission as per BACE policies and report to the project manager.
∎ S/he will help to project manager to maintain liaison with BTEB and ensure of course accreditation in BTEB on Industrial Sewing for the training center.
∎ S/he will provide technical support to the student to ensure a high standard of industrial sewing and prepare the student as professional garment sewing operator.
∎ S/he will maintain student attendance and prepare teaching learning materials for student. Facilitate BTEB admission and conduct trainings and develop training manual. Ensure to develop different income generating activities from the sewing trade.
∎ S/he will help to prepare report on project as per need for BACE Head Office.
∎ Have to frequently home visit of student.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in the running Professional Training Center in Industrial Sewing at project site along with a sustainable business standard.
∎ Experience in preparation teaching learning materials and student supervision.
∎ Expertise in all type of garments sewing machine.
∎ Good maintenance skill of garments sewing machine.
∎ Expertise on cloth cutting through the automatic machine.
∎ Experience in student handling and class room management.
∎ Experience in online student registration process with BTEB
∎ Candidate have excellent motivational and interpersonal skills.
∎ Good computer knowledge in office application.
∎ Willing and able to frequently field visit by motorcycle with valid driving license.
