∎ We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the Information Management System (IMS) Director position for an upcoming TB diagnostic network strengthening opportunity in Bangladesh. This position is contingent upon award and will be based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.?
∎ Project Description: The proposed USAID`s Tuberculosis Diagnostics Network Strengthening (TBDNS) project will expand access to quality TB diagnostics to increase detection and management of TB patients. The project will strengthen the TB diagnostic network systems with innovative approaches for quality of TB laboratory services, laboratory information management, sample transportation, etc., for improved and effective delivery of TB services. The project will have research component to support studies and operations research in relevant areas.
∎ Position Description: The IMS Director will provide strategic direction to this activity in using high quality and evidence-based information management systems to implement technical interventions that best improve the diagnostic network of Bangladesh. The IMS Director will ensure interoperability of national tuberculosis information management systems that this activity will support. The IMS Director will foster coordination among various stakeholders working on information management systems to improve efficiencies and qualify the tuberculosis diagnostic network. The IMS Director is to introduce globally recognized information management models and data platforms that can help operate a high functioning and quality assured tuberculosis diagnostic network.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide leadership and guidance on information management systems to enhance the TB diagnostic network in Bangladesh.
∎ Serve as the expert in information management systems responsible for sourcing and introducing models and data platforms that can help optimize the TB diagnostic network.
∎ Contribute to the leadership of TBDNS, ensuring the successful delivery of contractual activities.
∎ Work in close collaboration with national counterparts to provide the technical assistance required to fulfil national objectives and targets.
∎ Provide advisory services to the National TB Program and other government stakeholders to enhance the information management systems the project will support.
∎ Provide onsite and on-the-job technical assistance to government and other stakeholders' personnel in information management systems in support of Activity objectives.
∎ Work with project management and technical teams in developing work plans, presentations and reports, and represent the project wherever required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ A minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience working and managing public health projects, primarily in the field of health information systems.
∎ Substantial knowledge on information management systems, including data use and analysis, reporting, and integrating with diagnostic systems.
∎ Preferred experience working within the field of tuberculosis, with a particular emphasis on data management and information systems.
∎ Excellent interpersonal, presentation, writing, and English language skills.
∎ Previous experience working on USG or other multilateral organization projects.
