Experience:
Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Health Administration, Development Studies, or related field.
Minimum 7–10 years of progressively responsible experience in managing health or development programs at the field/regional level.
Demonstrated experience in implementing and coordinating MNCH, nutrition, epidemic preparedness, or risk communication/community engagement programs.
Experience working with government health departments (DGHS, DLS, DoF, etc.), NGOs, and community stakeholders.
Strong understanding of One Health and multisectoral coordination principles.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with capacity to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Willingness to travel frequently within the division and occasionally to Dhaka and other regions.
Preferred
Experience with USG-funded projects.
Prior involvement in outbreak preparedness, surveillance, or GHS-related interventions.
Familiarity with FHI 360 systems and processes.

Project Description:
Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) is a global project funded by the US Government (USG) and the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), that provides strategic technical assistance and direct service delivery to strengthen global health security (GHS), including outbreak response; improve maternal and child health (MCH), and promote health systems strengthening (HSS) including supply chain management.
Position Summary:
The Regional Coordinator (RC) will lead the implementation, coordination, and monitoring of EpiC Bangladesh project activities in Rajshahi and Jessore region. . The position will ensure the effective rollout of interventions on Global Health Security (GHS), Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health and Nutrition (MNCHN), and Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) in accordance with national and divisional priorities. The RC will provide technical and managerial leadership to district teams, coordinate with divisional and district health authorities, and ensure alignment with the project’s objectives, standards, and donor requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Program Implementation and Coordination
Lead, supervise, and coordinate all project activities in Rajshahi and Jessore region and assigned districts, ensuring timely and quality implementation of work plan deliverables.
Support the districts teams in development of the district and Upazila outbreak response plan focusing on the risk communication.
Facilitate divisional- and district-level workshops, mentorship activities and simulation exercises related to outbreak preparedness, MNCHN service improvement, and community engagement.
Ensure integration of human, animal, and environmental health coordination in line with One Health principles.
Monitor activity progress and provide regular updates, reports, and field briefs to the relevant focal points and the Deputy Project Director.
Work in coordination with the technical lead of GHS, MNCH, Nutrition and Evidence based public Health Messaging and Community Engagement, Strategic Information and the Communication team.
Oversight role in partnership management at the district and below.
Stakeholder Engagement and Representation
Serve as the primary liaison with divisional health authorities (DGHS, DLS, and other relevant departments), NGOs, and community-based organizations.
Represent EpiC Bangladesh in divisional-level technical and coordination meetings, workshops, and review sessions.
Support local advocacy with divisional leadership for sustainability of RCCE interventions.
Monitoring, Reporting, and Data Use
Collaborate with the Strategic Information (SI) team to ensure quality data collection, validation, and reporting.
Facilitate quarterly performance review meetings to assess progress against indicators and implement corrective measures.
Document lessons learned, success stories, and challenges to inform program improvement and national-level learning.
Facilitate program coordination meeting with district team including partners to track the project activities.
Capacity Strengthening
Provide mentoring and on-the-job support to field officers, community health workers, and implementing partners.
Coordinate with the Training Coordinator and technical teams to roll out training programs for divisional and district stakeholders on MNCHN, IPC, biosecurity, and RCCE.
Support quality improvement and infection prevention and control (IPC) initiatives at divisional and district facilities.
Operations and Compliance
Oversee administrative, financial, and logistical arrangements for project activities in the region in coordination with the central operations team.
Ensure compliance with FHI 360 and donor policies, procedures, and reporting standards.
Maintain updated records of program achievements, expenditures, and inventory in collaboration with the finance and operations team.
