∎ About Terre des hommes:
∎ Terre des hommes Foundation (Tdh) is the leading Swiss INGO focusing on child rights. It is active in more than 30 countries with development and emergency projects. Tdh interventions are focused on the three programs: Health, Migration and Access to Justice particularly for vulnerable children. Tdh Foundation has a transversal approach towards Child Protection programming and it cuts across all the thematic areas while also has been considered as one of the key value propositions in its business model. The Child Protection expertise within Tdh Foundation aims to develop high quality, evidence-based knowledge and know-how adapted to fragile contexts, conflict zones, and development to improve the protection of children`s rights and their right to protection from all forms of violence (art 19, 34 CRC) in collaboration with and in support of the three core programs. The Tdh Foundation global strategy 2021-2024 specifies that the will have demonstrated that rights-based participation, empowerment, and active involvement of children and communities in defining and implementing responses are essential to improve child protection.
∎ Tdh is working in Bangladesh since 1974, with operations in Kurigram district, Dhaka district and Cox Bazaar district. Currently, Tdh is implementing programs on Health, Access to Justice (social cohesion and conflict resolution) and Migration, integrated by the transversal expertise WASH and Child protection. Tdh interventions in Bangladesh are both in development and emergency context.
∎ Following the massive displacement of more than 800,000 people into Bangladesh since the end of August 2017, Tdh has put in place an important emergency response plan to provide relief to the Rohingya refugees, notably on Health, WASH, Child Protection and Social cohesion. Alongside, Tdh is implementing the CLARISSA project in Dhaka slums aiming to build a strong evidence base and generate innovative solutions to the worst forms of child labour (WFCL) and will explore how to take these solutions to scale.
∎ Tdh in Bangladesh has started the process of integration of emergency and development approaches and aims to capitalize its institutional learning for further program expansion and to create critical pathways for evidence-based advocacy.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ General responsibilities:
∎ He/she carries out in the delegation, part of the specific activities of the IS Support and IS Infrastructure group with a defined degree of autonomy in accordance with Tdh standards, policies, protocols, and procedures.
∎ He/she will be the interface between the delegation and the headquarters.
∎ He/she will provide technical, administrative, and analytical support for the IT services in the delegation.
∎ He/she participates in the reflection, planning and coordination of the implementation of projects, de-ployments, maintenance and support for the different environments and users in the delegation.
∎ He/she maintains the level of IT service defined by headquarters in consultation with his/her line manager in the delegation.
∎ He/she maintains, monitors, reports, and controls all the equipment, tools, and services of the Information System (IS) and guarantees the availability of the IS to users.
∎ He/she monitors (control, deployment, etc.) the IT equipment in the delegation and guarantees the availability of IT systems to users.
∎ He/she provides pedagogical support in the delegation.

∎ Specific Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Ensures the implementation of good technical and procedural practices in the preparation, install-lation, maintenance and repair of laptops, accessories for Windows
∎ 2. Monitor, maintain, follow up and consolidate reports of all IT equipment, tools and services of the Information Systems (IS) and Telecommunications of the delegations in his/her area, in accordance with TDH standards, policies, protocols and procedures.
∎ 3. Participate in the improvement of IT services by reporting major problems and issues raised in the delegation.
∎ 4. Provide technical support for the management of incidents related to users or infrastructures of the delegations in the delegation at level 1 and 2. If necessary, liaise with logistics team leader to support for third level support, as well as with external suppliers, to ensure that any incidents or problems that cannot be resolved at his/her level are properly recorded and escalated.
∎ 5. Provide pedagogical support (briefing, training and support, etc.) to users
∎ 6. Provide advanced technical support to the logistic officer in charge of IT
∎ 7. Ensures regular reporting to the functional manager on IT activities: deployment, projects and developments in the delegation
∎ 8. Update and publish and archive all user and ICT (Information and Communication Technology) documentation due to changes in IT infrastructure and services.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Mastery of Microsoft Office tools (Office 365 environment would be a plus)
∎ Ability to write and maintain document databases
∎ Possible knowledge of scripting (e.g. PowerShell)
∎ Proficiency in English languages relevant to the position

Salary: Tk. 55400 (Monthly)
