Job Responsibilities:
∎ High quality inclusive humanitarian aid is delivered with maximum efficiency and professionalism to bring a positive change to the lives of people with disabilities and other at risk affected Rohingya and host population through management and technical support to the partner:
∎ Provide continuous strategic steer to ensure that overall Rohingya response remains contextually appropriate, aligned to the changes in environment and clearly show- casing added value and niche of CBM/CDD intervention within the broader response in Cox's Bazaar.
∎ In collaboration with CBM Humanitarian Inclusion Advisor, provide technical support to CDD colleagues to ensure Core Humanitarian Standards, Humanitarian Inclusion Standards, IASC guidelines on inclusion of persons with disabilities in humanitarian action, CBM technical guidance and standards are internalized and applied
∎ Provide technical and management support to the CDD program manager and project managers/team leaders to ensure that projects are implementing in line with project proposal, log-frame and agreed action plan in line with budget and time.
∎ Support development of needed CDD systems and processes for CDD to effectively and efficiently implement the response
∎ Support CDD in improving the MEAL framework including clear learning opportunities, knowledge products to be captured during the course of project implementation.
∎ Support CDD's Program Manager in putting beneficiary feedback/ accountability mechanism in place, jointly monitor the system in order to allow voices of beneficiaries being taken into account.
∎ Conduct regular field visit to ensure projects activities are delivered as per agreed action plan, within the budget and as per quality criteria.
∎ Ensure the Core Humanitarian Standards and Humanitarian Inclusion Standards are implemented within the project(s) and are being followed up by the partner.
∎ Capture organizational learning from experience through monitoring and evaluation to continue improving the program quality.
∎ Actively participate and contribute in joint visioning, planning and review activities of the response with the aim of ensuring that all CDD and CBM team members are supported to understand the overall programme, reflect this understanding in their respective work plans and contribute to generating evidence and learning
Additional Requirements:
∎ Proven experience in program implementation and management in development and humanitarian setting (minimum seven years).
∎ Excellent interpersonal communication and coordination skills. Fluent in spoken and written English and ability to prepare quality reports and presentations for a range of key audience.
∎ Significant experience in utilizing humanitarian institutional and individual capacity strengthening strategies and approaches.
∎ Proven Knowledge and proven track record on disability inclusion, working with people with disabilities or other at risk groups in humanitarian programmes
∎ Proven ability to and track record to network with donors, clusters and other INGOs/NGOs
∎ Proven ability to utilize in house resources to support quality implementation of the response (Global advisors, consultants and humanitarian team members)
