Job Responsibilities:
∎ Core responsibility to take all entire responsibility of POS Application
∎ Assess user needs to determine technical requirements.
∎ Participate in early design review and refine development process (coding, testing, documentation)
∎ Collaborate with the team (Business Analyst, Architects, Developers, Designers, Test Engineers, QA analysts, Software Manager and Product Manager) and clients to resolve critical impediments and problems.
∎ Drive the full development cycle, from design and Development to testing and release, of working new and existing software systems and/or applications to add value and meet Stakeholder’s needs.
∎ Support, maintain, and document software functionality.
∎ Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.
∎ Plan and conduct basic unit and module testing
∎ Provide coaching and mentoring to junior developers.
∎ Independently assess situations and apply procedures and best practices to arrive at best solutions with minimal additional review.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Must have experience integrating Grails code with front-end JavaScript frameworks including JQuery.
∎ Must have experience working with XML and JSON using Grails, JMS and Web, services, XML, Apache Tomcat, SQL and SVN.
∎ Experience with RDMS concepts and vast Knowledge in Oracle PL/ SQL
∎ Experience
∎ Experience with RESTful Web Services.
∎ Understanding of proper application design techniques and methodologies.
∎ Proficient understanding of SDLC processes desired – Agile
∎ Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
∎ Must have working knowledge in Web technologies including.
∎ Knowledge of software engineering principles and design patterns.
