Educational Requirements:
∎ Post graduate in Veterinery/Fisheries/Agriculture/Business Management with at least 2 years experience.

∎ Graduate in Veterinery/Fisheries/Agriculture/Business Management with at least 3 years expereance.

Job Context:
∎ To provide support to implementation of the FSL activates of SI in Teknaf Upazila.
∎ He/she will provide technical support for planning, monitoring of the overall implementation process of the project activities.
∎ Affectation: Teknaf, Bangladesh
∎ Possible Start of the activities: ASAP
∎ ORG CHART POSITION (Reporting and Functional Relationships)
∎ Line Manager: Activity Manager FSL-DRR

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan the weekly activities for his/her team according to the project's objectives & timeframe and have them approved by his/her Line Manager.
∎ Support the Program Manager in defining initial assessment.
∎ In collaboration with MEAL, conduct & supervise assessment, data entry and analysis.
∎ Participate in beneficiaries' identification and ensure that BNF's are selected according to relevant criteria, defined with the communities and the Program Manager.
∎ Create appropriate technical guidelines for IGAs
∎ Lead the market assessments & study to identify most remarkable business opportunities for IGAs.
∎ Participate actively in the design of IGA activities and the identification of suitable implementation methods.
∎ Technical support to the line manager on IGA related issues in order to ensure a comprehensive and relevant intervention.
∎ Ensure the methodologies and project's objectives are well understood by the IGA officers & implemented on the field and propose adequate change where needed.
∎ By supervising & monitoring each stage of activity, ensuring that the schedules & deadlines agreed upon with the line manager are respected.
∎ In collaboration with the Govt. & other actors, identify training resources and their availability to conduct technical training to the IGA beneficiaries' at village/community level.
∎ Develop regular follow up tools & validate them with Line Manager and MEAL team, train the FSL team to ensure the efficiency & progress of project.
∎ HR MANAGEMENT:
∎ Support the Line Manager in solving problems between team members, or between teams and partners, communities and beneficiaries
∎ Conduct the performance reviews of the staff s/he supervises directly
∎ Act as the liaison in the field between the various actors
∎ Plan human resources, material and financial resources with the program manager according to the set schedule
∎ LOGISTICS AND ADMINISTRATION:
∎ Anticipate logistics issues (transport, communication, materials etc.)
∎ Participate in the revising BoQs, procurement request for each specific IGA starter kit based on beneficiary's assessment & business plan, follow up the purchases and ensure quality control of IGA in kind support & prepare schedule for smooth distribution.
∎ Train his/her team members to use and maintain the available tools correctly
∎ Track usage with monitoring tools provided
∎ Ensure compliance of security rules by the staff under his/her supervision
∎ Ensure that safety procedures are followed by members of his/her team
∎ Monitor the quality and quantity of material delivered to working sites
∎ Ensure the receipt and storage of material and equipment necessary for his/her work to be carried out on site
∎ REPORTING / COMMUNICATION:
∎ Keep his/her monitoring tools and files archived in the Solidarités office, accessible to his/her Line Manager and MEAL Team
∎ Draw up and submit a weekly task report (which should include progress made by the team) to his/her project manager
∎ Make case study, success stories & lesson learning reports
∎ Take part in the drafting of the monthly program pack
∎ Listen to the populations and local participants in the field and report to his/her Line Manager any non-technical or safety-related issues which could affect the activities or safety of Solidarités International teams.
∎ Develop SI defined CRM activities among the team & make familiar for the community.
∎ Facilitate communication between Solidarités International and communities, authorities, beneficiaries and other parties in the area
∎ Present to the population and local authorities the nature of field operations
∎ Remain in touch with the population and local authorities to understand needs, complaints, and major events that may have an impact on the activities of Solidarités International.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 3 years working experience in NGO/INGO/Other organization at same level
∎ Good level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (word, Excel and Power point)
∎ Language proficiency : English and Bengali skills are required for writing, typing s
∎ Ability to speak the Chittagonian dialect is an added value
∎ Working experience with report writing, stakeholder management, team management.
∎ Experience in Climate Resilient IGA/Livelihood Project preferred
∎ Good knowledge in Market Study, Value Chain & Business Plan implementation.
∎ Skills on training facilitation

Salary:
∎ Monthly Salary: 58,700 BDT
