Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters Degree in a relevant subject (Public Health / Social Science etc). Public Health preferable.

∎ 2 to 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To lead good hygiene practices and effective hygiene session, through improving knowledge and changing the attitudes and behavior of the targeted communities.
∎ To encourage to attend session from Hygiene sections of the community through outreach work
∎ To work with Hygiene field team who have specific roles when devising community
∎ To develop and support of "Hygiene Team" to build a strong relationship with community engagement activities
∎ To meet regularly with the hygiene team and relevant hygiene field staff to review and progress of the activities and discuss/resolve any issues/challenges.
∎ Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team keeping'& accurate records of all engagement related activities
∎ Develop monthly, quarterly and annual work plans and budgets (draft) for Community Engagement.
∎ To contribute to daily report writing in relation to the community engagement activities
∎ To work flexible hours where required.
∎ To undertake innovative idea or new community engagement approach as will be assigned from time-to-time by the Project office.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience in NGO Forum approach to Hygiene Promotion
∎ Experience in child focused Hygiene Promotion activities
∎ Ability to think creatively and implement innovative techniques on a restricted budget
∎ Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to cultural differences and gender issues. as well as the commitment to equal opportunities
∎ Strong verbal and written communication at all levels
∎ Confident community facing personality
∎ Hard working and positive attitude
∎ Willingness to work in Refugee Camps and Willingness to work under pressure during emergency response
∎ Practical work experience in WASH sectors with WASH focusing with humanitarian and RANA's Approaches
∎ Medium in English (written/verbal)
∎ Team management- Ability to work under limited supervision - Dynamism -
∎ Computer skills
Salary: Tk. 81578 (Monthly)
