Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop HVAC systems based on project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct load calculations to determine heating and cooling requirements for buildings and other structures.
- Prepare HVAC system layout and design drawings using computer-aided design software.
- Perform equipment selection and size ductwork and piping systems.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure project success.
- Oversee HVAC system installation and commissioning to ensure proper functioning.
- Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Prepare project reports and documentation.
