Job Responsibilities:
∎ A. Program Management:
∎ Provide support for technical quality and standards for the implementation of timely and effective implementation of Humanitarian and nexus projects and activities, including achieving set indicator targets and objectives, in line with budgets and work-plans, focusing on producing the required deliverables.
∎ Organise weekly and monthly meetings with project staff get update from the staff and provide necessary support if staff is facing any challenges.
∎ Conduct field visits to monitor implementation and consult with key stakeholders - and provide support to relevant members of the program team to ensure the timely and effective implementation of activities - determining gaps and needs and taking corrective measures within appropriate timelines.
∎ With the Regional Humanitarian Coordinator, take the lead on emergency response and preparedness and contingency planning for Cox's Bazar operation and provide support when required.
∎ Communicate regularly with project staff, partners and Regional Humanitarian coordinator to discuss activity planning and implementation for better result in the field.
∎ Conduct quality checks on different donor reports before submission to the donor.
∎ B. Local Partnership development:
∎ Work closely with the Partners to provide strategic guidance and necessary management support to implement projects with quality standards. Conduct capacity building and/or mentoring activities for project staff and/or NGO partners as required.
∎ Promote adherence to standards and best practices, promoting local adaptation.
∎ Support to partners for development of project reports, including how to develop report writing and providing data analysis for donor reporting and advocacy.
∎ Coordinate/provide formal and on-the job training for programme and project staff dealing with other sectors.
∎ C. External relationship with donors and GoB:
∎ Attend working groups with other international agencies when relevant and contribute to the development of harmonized and coordinated responses.
∎ Represent HELVETAS in different local level meeting and Coordinate with local administrations, RRRC, DC, UNO, Camp In-charge, etc. for approval/endorsement of projects and access permission for the expat/foreign nationals working to project sites.
∎ Coordinate with various networks/platforms and attend relevant meetings, workshops, and seminars.
∎ Ensure compliance to different Government department such as NGO-AB, Tax, and VAT regulations in coordination with the Govt Liaison manager.
∎ D. Knowledge sharing and decision making:
∎ Promote learning and collect relevant experiences for sharing internally within Helvetas as well as with partners
∎ Support acquisition efforts, by giving inputs to proposals, giving insights and ideas about future calls, and joining ad hoc acquisition teams.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Min 7 years' plus experience working in senior management level or/and in Humanitarian Context;
∎ Min 3 years of people management experiences or team management experience.
∎ Strong background in program management and office management;
∎ Skills and knowledge on project management cycle, financial management, humanitarian principles;
∎ Experience working in partnership with local organizations is desirable;
∎ Self-directed and taking initiative, reliable and accountable, professional; fair & objective; effective coordination & delegation; good communication and teamwork approach;
∎ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, tasks efficiently in high-stress environment;
∎ Excellent time management skills, resourcefulness, with strong attention to detail;
∎ Honest; approachable, flexible, dynamic worker with high team spirit;
∎ Creating an empowering and motivating environment; building relationships internally and externally;
∎ Fluent in English, Bengali native speaker;
∎ Excel, word and financial management software;

Salary:
∎ National employment contract for 1 year with salary range BDT. 225,000 to 275,000/- including all benefits (PF, Gratuity, Festival Bonus, Insurance and others as per HR policy).
