• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Job Context:

 Gana Unnayan Kendra (GUK) is seeking for a suitable candidate for the position of “Humanitarian Action (HA) Officer” for AWO International supported ‘Promoting Food and Nutrition Security for Climate Vulnerable Communities in Gaibandha District, Bangladesh (PROOFS) project. The project duration is November 01, 2024 to December 31, 2026. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement all emergency humanitarian activities during disasters within the project cycle;

• Arrange anticipatory action and humanitarian response related to beneficiaries;

• Follow-up and technical assistance to beneficiaries for disaster risk reduction, and climate change adoption initiatives;

• Provide technical support to other project staff for smooth implementation;

• Close communication with agriculture officials.
