Responsibilities & Context:

Finance Work

1. Be responsible for daily accounting, income and expenditure registration, as well as cash and bank transaction record management.

2. Prepare daily and monthly financial statements, check and verify bills and invoices.

3. Assist lawyers in handling compliance work including taxation, VAT and audit affairs.

4. Manage expense reimbursement, payroll calculation and capital account records.

5. Purchase necessary office supplies and daily necessities.

6. Arrange transportation for staff on business trips.

7. Regularly submit Chinese-English bilingual financial reports to China management team.

HR Work

1. Manage staff recruitment, interview, onboarding, resignation and labor contract administration.

2. Handle attendance, leave application, overtime arrangement, social insurance, individual income tax formalities and salary disbursement.

3. Maintain employee files, apply for work permits and various relevant certificates.

4. Manage employee relations and labor disputes in compliance with Bangladesh labor laws.

5. Submit Chinese-English bilingual HR reports to China management team.

6. Provide logistics support and transportation arrangement for company staff.

7. Assist in daily office administration, procurement, document management and office facilities management.

8. Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related fields.

2. 1–3 years of working experience in local finance, HR or administration in Bangladesh.

3. Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading and writing); native Bengali speaker.

4. Proficient in Office software (Excel, Word), familiar with WeChat, able to do bookkeeping and prepare professional statements.

5. Familiar with local tax laws, labor laws as well as local finance and HR workflow in Bangladesh.

6. Honest, meticulous, highly responsible and able to work under pressure; with strong execution, communication and coordination skills.

7. Candidates with Chinese language proficiency are preferred.
