Job Context:
∎ Bashundhara Group a well-reputed & highly regarded business conglomerate is looking for a skilled and professional person for the position House Manager Cum Butler for the residence of Top level Management.
∎ As the position involves a significant level of hands-on service to the Management and their guests, the schedule and hours worked will vary considerably, requiring a large degree of flexibility. Occasionally, such positions are live-in, where security and/or 24/7 on-call services are appropriate.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensuring the smooth running of a household and servicing of principals and guests.
∎ Regularly interacting with the householder to maintain direct communication and compliance with their needs.
∎ Writing of household manuals and policy documents for Management approval.
∎ Ensuring efficiency, harmony, and high morale throughout the household.
∎ Caring for household's guests and visitors.
∎ Organizing of social and family events.
∎ Serving of refreshments, meals and drinks.
∎ Staff training and development, financial management and purchasing.
∎ Engaging and overseeing outside contractors, service providers and suppliers.
∎ Maintaining security and communication systems and record keeping.
∎ Oversee the duties of a valet, chef, housekeeper, nanny, pet minder, gardener, or chauffeur if required.
∎ High level of attention to detail, Positive approachable manner and well groomed.
∎ Responsible for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines.
∎ Responsible for maintaining quality of food product and ensuring consistency in food while demonstrating excellent understanding of costing and delivering.
∎ Inspect daily, all fresh food received to ensure the quality is maintained
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in household and property/project management and residential service.
∎ Knowledge of etiquette and protocol.
∎ Experience of formal service of drinks and food.
∎ Ability to represent the household.
∎ Ability to anticipate others' wishes and adapt accordingly.
∎ Experience in delivery of a discreet, confidential and unobtrusive service.
