Requirements: Skills Required: Additional Requirements: Comprehensive understanding of writ jurisdiction, civil procedure, and relevant financial laws.
Strong command over Microsoft Word and Excel.
Typing proficiency in Bangla using both Avro and Bijoy software with good typing speed.
Excellent written communication skills in both English and Bangla.
Strong sense of responsibility, accuracy, and time management.
Responsibilities & Context: JOB DESCRIPTION
- Maintain and update the complete docket of all High Court matters (writ petitions, civil revisions, appeals, reviews, criminal matters, and company matters).
- Track case status, hearings, orders, and compliance timelines on a daily basis.
- Identify urgent matters requiring immediate legal action (e.g., stay order, injunction, status quo).
- Ensure all petitions, rejoinders, affidavits, and supplementary documents are prepared and submitted on time.
- Provide all necessary documents, statements, approvals, and factual backgrounds to the appointed advocate.
- Attend High Court hearings when necessary to assist counsel.
- Follow up with lawyers regarding case progress, certified copies, and next steps.
- Prepare briefs, note sheets, internal reports, vetting papers, and summaries for each assigned case.
- Ensure proper preservation and cataloguing of orders, rulings, certified copies, and judgments.
- Assist in drafting affidavits, applications, and legal notices related to High Court matters.
- Maintain compliance with the Artha Rin Adalat Ain, 2003, NI Act, CPC, CrPC, Banking Companies Act, and other relevant laws.
- Provide regular updates to the Head of Litigation, Head of Legal, and Management regarding case status and legal risks.
- Recommend legal strategies and actionable steps based on case developments.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Recovery, Credit, Operations) to collect documents and factual inputs needed for court filing.
- Follow up on post-judgment execution proceedings, injunction compliance, and enforcement of orders.
- Coordinate with field recovery teams for execution of decrees and court directives.
- Maintain high confidentiality regarding all legal information.
- Ensure accuracy in drafting authorizations, Vakalatnamas, Power of Attorney, and board approvals.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly litigation reports for management review.
