Educational Requirements:
∎ Prospective candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree. Diploma / Training in HA would be added value.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Check with beneficiaries how they would like to receive information, including format, timing, location, language etc.
∎ Implement and support Camp/ Host Community level Team to implement information provision guidelines and Distribution Level information provision strategy. This includes setting up notice boards, printing documents to include on notice boards, showing staff how to use notice boards etc.
∎ Review and improve or develop Camp/Host Community level information provision strategy. Work together with Distribution Team to ensure all stakeholders are sufficiently informed according to the information provision guidelines.
∎ Ensure implementation of feedback and complaints mechanisms across all programs in the Camp and Host Community. This includes: Ensure adherence of the Camp/ Host community to adherence to Feedback and Complaints Policy and Procedures, Help Desk Guidelines, Suggestion Box Guidelines etc. Including confidentiality, timely and appropriate response.
∎ Review complaints received through all mechanisms together with the Distribution Team Lead. Decide a plan of action. Responsible for ensuring the action is carried through on time, according to the guidelines.
∎ Document all Camp / Host Community level complaints and responses centrally and as directed. Where a database is available, manage documentation of all Camp complaints in the database.
∎ Engage the beneficiaries in an appropriate and respectful manner, never raising false expectations.
∎ Intentionally, regularly informally and formally consult with beneficiaries, non-beneficiaries, Government, other agencies to receive feedback on our programs, commitments and staff conduct.
∎ Improve the Camp/ Host community staff's understanding of capacities, needs and preferences of the communities which we work. Work with Camp/ Host Community staff to improve the ways in which World Vision engages the beneficiaries based on findings of beneficiary preferences.
∎ Build capacity of Camp/ Host community staff to engage with beneficiaries.
∎ Raise and address any issues discovered during consultations. Raise sensitive issues/incidents immediately to the Line Manager.
∎ Compile and submit quality reports to Line Manager as directed. Ensure that all reports are highly accurate, comprehensive, well documented and will guarantee the credibility of the program;

Additional Requirements:
∎ Ability to speak in chitagonian language
∎ Demonstrated ability to work effectively with beneficiary communities, Government and other stakeholders at the district level;
∎ Experience in training and community consultation highly desired
∎ Experience in facilitating focus group discussions with local communities and reporting.
∎ Commitment to and understanding of international humanitarian standards, especially the Red Cross and Red Crescent Code of Conduct, Sphere, and the Humanitarian Accountability Partnership (HAP) Standard;
∎ Ability to work in a cross-cultural context with people of various backgrounds;
∎ Ability to perform field assignments and willingness to travel for long period of time in difficult terrain, harsh and demanding conditions. Candidates should also be willing to live and work in very difficult and security-risk areas
∎ Good command of oral and written Bangla / English must and Computer literacy is a must.
∎ Work Experience in Relief / Refugee / Emergency context.
