• Experience Requirements:
• 2-3 years experience on health/ WASH
• Additional Job Requirements:
• Familiarity with community based work will be an advantage
• Appropriate interpersonal skill
• Good mobilizer
• Self-starter, Proactive, team player
• Previous experience with dalit/marginalized communities will be a plus.

Job Responsibilities

A. Overall Responsibilities:

• The Health Mobilizer will be responsible providing health related support in order to achieve the well-being of beneficiaries. This post is designed for 100% field based work. His/ her services will cover a broad range of health interventions (Psychosocial wellbeing, Developing Life Skills/ Empowering Children against Sexual Violence, SRHR), and approaches tailored for various target beneficiaries, their families and communities including ad-hoc Parent Counseling.
• B. Specific tasks include:
• Identify and select beneficiaries and volunteers from the community
• Organize and facilitate orientation and training courses
• Conduct health awareness activities including WASH
• Provide assistance to install hand washing and safe drinking water points
• Assist in conducting primary health camps
• Provide assistance in emergency patient transport
• Implement and deliver the project activities at ward/union level as per work plan
• Organize monthly & bi-monthly coordination meeting
• Organize monthly, bi-monthly coordination meeting with different stakeholders at ward/ union and upazila level
• Maintain liaison with local actors and institutions to create scope for diversion, referral and inclusion in social safety net program
• Organize and facilitate courtyard meeting at union/ ward level
• Organize and support to different day observance
• Prepare the case stories
• Prepare monthly work plan along with progress report and present in coordination meeting
• Provide support to Project Manager and Project Officer as required
• Perform additional tasks as and when assigned by the project

Job Location: Dacope Upazila (Khulna) and Assasuni Upazila (Satkhira)

* Tax will be deducted as per Govt. tax rules (if applicable)
