Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead and manage the software development teams of different projects to deliver software solutions that meet the needs of clients within the timeline.
∎ Manage and delegate work in a matrix environment and ensure the delivery consistent with Agile processes across the team.
∎ Mentor and help team members to adopt new technology and train them to make ready for the project.
∎ Implement mechanisms to monitor, manage, and provide progress on all software development activities and report to the management from time to time.
∎ Create, implement, and maintain a continuous improvement plan for software development of the existing solutions.
∎ Assign tasks to team members by tool, track the team members' productivity, and increase the team’s efficiency in achieving milestones.
∎ Review and apply the best practices to establish architecture and frameworks consistent with and supportive of the product strategy.
∎ Identify and implement technology trends that will be able to support the future success of the business.
∎ Collaborate with the appropriate functions and users to evaluate and identify platforms for delivering the company’s software solutions.
∎ Ensure that software solution development and quality standards and best practices are maintained across the organization.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in the software development arena, especially in the software solutions industry, will be given preference.
∎ Strong knowledge and development expertise of Java programming (J2EE) using Spring Framework based on REST API.
∎ Strong knowledge and experience required on the tools and technologies mentioned below:
∎ Angular 7, Java 8, Spring Framework, Bootstrap 4, CSS, HTML 5, ORM, Java Persistent API
∎ Tools: Eclipse version 2018/200, Visual Studio Code 1.30, Sublime Text 3, GitLab, WebStorm 2018, Visual Paradigm and any DB tools.
∎ Reporting: JASPER latest version.
∎ System-Level Security: OAuth 2, Spring Security.
∎ The minimum level of SQL knowledge is required.
∎ Understands moderate database concepts and effectively employs different database design techniques.
∎ Good understanding of GIT.
∎ Expert Level development knowledge of Java Microservices.
∎ Languages: JAVA (Full stack).
∎ Database Knowledge: PostgreSQL or any other DBMS.
∎ Expertise in assigning tasks to team members by Jira or Github and track their productivity.
