Position Summary
The Head of Marketing & R&D is directly responsible for driving BFC’s brand growth, market positioning, and product innovation. This role is held accountable for achieving marketing effectiveness, customer engagement, and successful new product launches that strengthen BFC’s market leadership. The position requires a balance of strategic vision, creative execution, and commercial impact across all marketing and R&D functions.
Location: Corporate Office, Dhaka
Reports To: Chairman
Core Responsibilities
Take full responsibility for BFC’s marketing strategy, brand identity, and overall market performance.
Ensure execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and communications that drive sales and customer engagement.
Lead all product research and development initiatives, from concept to launch, ensuring innovation aligns with customer preferences and profitability goals.
Conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
Develop and maintain a robust product pipeline based on market trends, sales data, and consumer feedback.
Be accountable for achieving defined KPIs including campaign ROI, brand visibility, and new product success rates.
Manage advertising, media, digital marketing, and creative development activities within approved budgets.
Coordinate closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure smooth implementation of new products and promotions.
Build and lead a high-performing marketing and R&D team committed to innovation and brand excellence.
Submit marketing performance and R&D progress reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), with actionable recommendations.
