∎ Minimum LL.M/ LL.B from U GC approved renowned university
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead and manage all facets of legal risks, defend proactively all legal issues, and ensure prompt and appropriate in-house legal services;
∎ Supervise the Legal Affairs team and Litigation team for discharging of respective obligations
∎ Drafting and vetting of various documents as to syndication fina ncing, club financing and various project financing, commercial contracts, bilateral instruments. documents relating to acquisition, sale and purchase transactions etc.
∎ Check all prepared documentations of all loan products
∎ Legal vetting of property matters and all kinds of charge documents
∎ Supervision of effective disposal of litigation filed against defaulter clients in various courts;
∎ Provide legal opinion/ advise on legal/compliance issues as required and provide support to the customers on material Compliance and Regulatory Risk issues and proactively monitor and mitigate risks;
∎ Make liaison with different regulatory bodies e.g. Bangladesh Bank; Govt. authorities e.g. Sub Registration Office, Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK), National Housing Authority (NHA) etc. and different corporate bodies for completion of assigned business
∎ Liaison with external Legal Counsels/Panel Lawyers
∎ Ensure compliance to internal and external policies, rules & regulations, guidelines, procedures of the company
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Enrollment as an advocate on the role of the Bangladesh Bar Council and High Court Division Supreme Court Bar Association/ barrister-at-law will be an added advantage.
∎ Experience: Minimum 8 years relevant experience in NBFI/ Bank
