Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure the smooth operation of core banking applications and provide end-user support. Implement, maintain, upgrade, and fix bugs in core banking solutions and other enterprise applications.
∎ Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security of all enterprise applications.
∎ Lead the application team in strategic reviews and development processes, identifying necessary skills and processes for effective application development and maintenance.
∎ Collaborate with various departments to understand their requirements and effectively incorporate them into application development and maintenance strategies.
∎ Possess workable knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), specifically ASP.NET Core architecture and programming, along with Windows systems.
∎ Understand and analyze banking business processes, their changes, and requirements to drive continuous improvement.
∎ Oversee application configuration, testing, deployment, maintenance, and support. Write queries, examine data, and troubleshoot issues effectively.
∎ Lead initiatives to modernize legacy systems and adopt emerging technologies to enhance agility and scalability. Foster a culture of innovation to drive digital transformation across the organization.
∎ Manage application projects, including testing, bug tracking, bug fixing, and comprehensive documentation.
∎ Recommend controls by identifying problems and providing improved procedures.
∎ Establish and maintain strong relationships with software vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
∎ Prepare and manage the budget for enterprise applications. Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and align with business priorities.
