Experience:

• At least 8 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital

• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) or B.Com. and M.Com. in Accounting from a reputed public or private university.
• Chartered Accountancy Part Qualified (at least 1st and 2nd levels of ICAB examinations). Preference will be given to the candidates having other professional degree(s); and
• Course completion from a reputed Firm of Chartered Accountants.

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital

• Age At least 30 years

• At least 8 years out of which at least 3 years in the role of head of finance and accounts of any business entity having at least yearly revenue of BDT 200.00 million. Experience in similar industry will be given preference.
• Practical experience in advanced accounting, regulatory issues, audit and taxation.
• Skills Required: Relevant IT knowledge and skill to perform the duties independently.

Job description: The responsibilities of the Head of Finance and Accounts will be the followings but not limited to these:

• Overall responsibility for preparation of financial statements and weekly/monthly management reports for decision making;

• Ensure maintenance of proper books of account and records and preserve those appropriately;

• Preparation of reconciliation statements, tax and VAT planning and annual/monthly returns for submission to the relevant authority;

• Take the lead of overall financial management of Vision Care Foundation and BEHRI;

• Work with the senior management in preparing financial planning, develop and implement internal control system and ensure all types regulatory compliances;

• Analyze revenue earnings opportunities and economic trends and identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement;

• Manage business through required analysis and evaluate & manage fund structure and fundraising initiatives;

• Evaluate business performance with tracking tools, establish corrective measures as may be needed and prepare detailed reports for decision making;

• Lead and develop the finance personnel, oversee the accounting software, ensure data integrity and audit trial in accounting software;

• Ensure proper and timely cooperation with the regulators, stakeholders, internal & external auditors.
