Responsibilities & Context:
Plans daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules, sequence lots, and minimizes cycle times while maximizing machine utilization.
Day to day production monitoring in dyeing & finishing.
Ensures Right First Time (RFT) dyeing results, enforces exact shade matching, and minimizes defects like patchiness or uneven shades.
Exercises budgetary control by optimizing chemical/dye consumption, reducing process loss, and driving lean manufacturing.
Leads and trains floor operators, laboratory technicians, and QA personnel.
Should Technically Qualified & Capable of Monitoring Day to Day Activities.
Guarantees that factory outputs align with environmental regulations, safety standards, and sustainability initiatives.
