Job Context:
∎ The incumbent will be responsible for managing the financial health of an organization in order to promote success and growth while maintaining legal financial practices. The duties typically include financial planning to determine how to pay off liabilities and grow the business, reviewing financial documents to ensure tax-compliance and collaboration with other departments to achieve monetary goals.
∎ The core purpose of this position is to advise an organization on how to increase profit through prudent financial practices and monitoring and enforcing compliance with finance-related laws, procedures and regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collaborating with the management in improving & executing strategies and processes, accomplishing corporate goals and profitability for the company by steering an entire gamut of functions entailing Finance, Accounts, taxation, compliance, banking, treasury, credit rating, audit etc.
∎ Be a part of the team to bring in the required expertise from financial stand point (ensuring
∎ positive cash flow of the project, back-to-back offers from sub vendors, coverage of the required Over Head & Margin etc.) while bidding for prospective tenders.
∎ Develop and manage relationships with the Company's lenders and equity shareholders.
∎ Establishing consistent and appropriate business practices, enhanced controls for credit risks, and building staff morale at a time of financial distress; instituted controls, teamwork and accountability throughout the entity.
∎ Structuring & implementing internal control disciplines throughout the division to maintain integrity and accuracy of financial reports.
∎ Directing financial analysis, internal & regulatory reporting, accounting operations, budgeting & forecasting for achieving Long-term improvements in cost savings, profitability and productivity.
∎ Attending meetings, presentations & negotiations with banks & FIs for securing tie-ups for the company
∎ Designing financial strategies for meeting the short and long term needs of the company; managing capital requests.
∎ Monitoring and safeguarding of capital expenditure of the company.
∎ Budgeting processes and developing performance measures in alignment with the company's goals and also monitoring budgets for deviations.
∎ Formulate & implement policies, procedures and internal control systems with the collaboration of HR department for effective financial operations of the company.
∎ Delivering a strong corporate governance framework that ensures compliance with statutory obligations
∎ Developing cost and profitability projections to support pricing decisions; implementing cost control measures for better top-line & bottom-line.
∎ Perform special tasks, as assigned by the Management.
