Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance.

• Age At least 30 years

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a similar finance or accounts management role, preferably in the Garments or RMG sector.

• Strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.

• Preparation of company’s monthly salary & reimbursement.

• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow management.

• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and inventory or cost control in a manufacturing or apparel environment.

• Knowledge of local tax laws, VAT, corporate compliance, and internal control frameworks.

• Ability to use accounting and ERP software, along with solid MS Excel and other office productivity tools.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to lead and develop an accounts team, communicate clearly with management, and collaborate across departments.

Role Description:

The Accounts & Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting. Day-to-day tasks include managing general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring. The role involves preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgeting and forecasting, and analyzing variances to support management decisions. The manager will ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, and will coordinate with auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders. This position also includes supervising the accounts team, improving financial processes, and supporting strategic planning for the business.
