Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ MBA in any discipline from any reputed university will be preferred
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 12 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Experience in Cargo Section in any airlines will be given preference
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Administer the entire Sales & Operation functions of Cargo Section
∎ Facilitate smooth cargo operations at all stations through coordination with the Customer Service/Ground Handling Agents within the station
∎ Builds working relations with airlines, trucking companies, shippers, and freight forwarders engaged in international trade in an effort to expand or create new business of US-Bangla Airlines.
∎ Monitoring & ensuing adherence to regulations outlined by local authorities & compliance with IATA regulations for safe, secure & effective movement of inbound & outbound cargo.
∎ Maintain freighter on time performance.
∎ Discuss & implement marketing strategies with International GSA for higher revenue per flights
∎ Analyzing competitors’ rates & performance and market behavior
∎ Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping relation with current market and competitors, changing trends and economic indicators
∎ Analyze the market potentials to determine the value of existing & prospective customers in terms of sales opportunities.
∎ Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competitors & market
∎ Responsible for on time payment collection from local forwarders and overseas GSA
∎ Regular coordination with finance team for reconciliation of accounts
∎ Charter freighter operations for various stations.
∎ Knowledge on Interline agreement, codeshare, Transshipment
∎ Responsible and accountable for budget preparation, monitoring, and approval of purchased goods, services, and travel.
∎ Prepares status reports and other documentation as appropriate.
∎ Performs other assignments and duties as directed.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Ability to maintain liaison with relevant authorities
∎ Should have good computer knowledge specially in Microsoft office
∎ Should have good knowledge in CGO automation
∎ Adequate knowledge on ACC3 compliance
∎ Good communication ability in English.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
∎ Legal knowledge on cargo compensation in case of damage, theft, pilferage & loss of shipment .
∎ Leadership quality to lead the Cargo team.
