Job Title

Senior QC Executive / Quality In-charge (Apparel)

Job Context

We are a growing apparel buying house looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QC Executive. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards for our international buyers (especially focusing on strict quality markets like Japan). You will oversee both sewing quality and embellishment/print/trim quality at partner factories.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inline, midline, and final inspections based on AQL 2.5 (or buyer-specified standards).

• Thoroughly inspect not only garment construction/measurement but also print quality, fabric painting, pigment stains, and paint durability on metal/plastic trims (buttons, zippers, etc.).

• Read and interpret Tech Packs, sample comments, and measurement charts accurately.

• Identify root causes of defects on the factory floor and provide immediate corrective actions to the factory production team.

• Prepare clear and detailed daily inspection reports in English and communicate findings with the management team via WhatsApp/Email.

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a QC/QA in a reputed RMG factory or buying house.

• Education: Graduate in any discipline (Textile Engineering or Diploma in Garment Technology is a strong plus).

• Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of Knit, Woven, or Denim items.

  • Strong eye for detail (Must be able to detect minor print defects, fabric shading, and paint peeling on accessories).

  • Ability to handle factory management and line chiefs firmly.

• Language & IT: Good communication skills in Bengali and functional English (written and verbal). Proficiency in using smartphones for photo reporting and basic Excel.
