Candidate having 20 years of experience in Sample & CAD operations, preferably in woven and denim garments.

Having expertise in CAD software (Lectra & Gerber will be preferable).

In-depth knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and marker efficiency.

Candidate must have leadership, planning, and team management skills.

Good communication skills with buyers and cross-functional teams.

Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Pattern Development & Fit Analysis.

Buyer Communication & Coordination.

Collaborate with the design, sampling and production teams to ensure seamless workflow from concept to production.

Ensure timely sample submission with 100% compliance to buyer specifications.

Oversee pattern making, grading, and marker planning using CAD software.

Maximize fabric utilization through efficient marker making and cost control.

Coordinate closely with merchandising, production, and QA teams to ensure smooth workflow.

Check and approve patterns, fits, and sample quality before submission.

Maintain effective communication with buyers/Buying office regarding sample comments and approvals.

Lead, train, and motivate the sample room and CAD team to achieve departmental goals and KPI.

Prepare and monitor T&A plans to ensure all samples are delivered on time.

Implement and maintain best practices in CAD software usage and marker-making techniques.

Lead the CAD team in developing accurate patterns and layouts for Denim Wear products, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and design requirements.

Optimize marker efficiency and fabric utilization to minimize wastage while maintaining quality.

Oversee pattern adjustments and modifications based on client feedback, production constraints and quality standards.

Analyze production challenges and propose CAD-based solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Train and mentor CAD team members to enhance their skills and ensure high team performance.

Stay updated with the latest CAD technologies and trends in the RMG industry to recommend process improvements.
