Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure full and timely compliance donor requirements for grants funded by Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Australia and EU; managed directly by the Operations and Resource Management and support "Manager - Grant Compliance" for strategic engagement with donors, partners and support offices.
∎ Support regional field and project teams in assure that donor compliance requirements are understood respected throughout the life of project, including any and all programmatic reporting, fiduciary management protocols and deadlines.
∎ Assure real time, effective inter-departmental collaboration with key business partners including, but not limited to: Finance; Technical Programme Team, HR, SCM and Government Relations.
∎ Negotiate with partners and external consultants to deliver quality assessments and study reports. Work closely with Project Managers and follow up compliance progress.
∎ Assure monthly status update of compliance related issues for all grants managed by the operations department.
∎ Expeditiously resolve any and all compliance issues that are identified in collaboration with key national business partners (from relevant department).
∎ Ensure management and compliance support to grants.
∎ Quality Compliance Check through review all contractual plans and reports.
∎ Capacity Building & Reflection for learning.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Strong knowledge and understanding of humanitarian industry (relief, development, grants and advocacy), including how INGOs operate in the global and local contexts.
∎ Broad understanding and knowledge of government and bi/multilateral agency funding requirements and systems.
∎ In-depth knowledge and understanding of government and bi/multilateral agency funding requirements and systems.
∎ Good conceptual and practical skills to write reports that meet donor requirements.
∎ Skills in project design, budget preparation, evaluation and report writing.
∎ Skills in monitoring and development of Theory of Change (ToC).
∎ Good command in English, both written and verbal.
∎ Decision making and conflict resolution skills.
∎ Competent in using MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint presentation.
∎ Ability to work under stressful condition and adapt to local culture and situation.
∎ At least 2-3 years’ experiences of institutional donor funded project.
∎ Experience in working with a cross-cultural environment; preferably in Asian context and also in the fields of M & E.
∎ Must be willing and able to travel nationally up to 12 weeks per annum.
∎ Must be willing to provide guidance, support, coaching and mentoring to Department /Unit Heads and ensure a culture of collaboration and communication is maintained.
