Experience Requirements:

• At least 05-06 year(s) of work experience in reputed local or Multinational set up in Shipping Sector.
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Shipping and Logistics, Liner operations, Feeder Vessel Handling, Vessel Performance metrics and optimization, Berth/TM/Stevedore Concept, Vessel Husbandry Support, SOC business, Terminal Optimization, Customs and Govt. Shipping Department related Law and Regulations.

Additional Requirements:

• Manage day to day operations in accordance with plans within the parameters of principal’s requirement, management direction and safe working practices to achieve maximum levels of productivity.

• Strategic planning to secure berthing window as per Strategy.

• Handle vessels in a structured, safe and efficient way.

• Driving the local operation agents, vendors and VSA/Common Carrier partners.

• Driving methods and measure to ensure terminal resources are allocated to vessels appropriately.

• Clean drive to notch up Performance metrics, reduced Feeder idle time at O/A, Priority Discharge and Load.

• Ensure Evacuation of Surplus Empty Containers on own and partner Vessels from On/Off dock with maximum vessel utilization. Ensure minimum turnaround time for empty container and vessels.

• Build up Crisp, strategic and timely communication structure with HQ.

• Excellent and winning stake holders management (Port Authority, Berth / TM Operators, Multifaceted Vendors, internal) style and skill to max up Business Goal/ Strategy fulfillment.

• Full scale cost optimization Mind set and driving force to lead a strong team towards that.

• Team oriented, Mentorship and humble leadership skills to develop a large team member to ace.

• Ability to Interpret and plan on financial results for strategic planning and Operational Budget preparation.
