Job Context:
∎ Report to: Additional Managing Director
∎ Position Summary: We are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven General Manager to direct and manage our organization`s business activities and to develop and implement effective business strategies and programs. The noteworthy General Manager should account for all business activities, support staff development, enhance efficiency, drive sales and improve revenue, maintain relationships with clients, enhance the organization`s image, and meet overall growth objectives. The ideal candidate for this position has previous corporate management experience and a proven track record for effective team management and results-driven leadership
∎ Skills Required: Related Field.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Direct the company in keeping with the vision outlined for the company by Owners.
∎ Partner with high-level officers to grow the company, strengthen it and ensure its sustainability.
∎ Must have sound knowledge on HR Policies, Buyer's Compliance issues and Bangladesh Labor Law.
∎ Represent the company as required, including attendance of important functions, industry events and public meetings
∎ Work closely with the Finance team, to prepare annual budgets, complete risk analysis on potential investments, and advise management with regard to investment risk and return
∎ Work closely with Human Resources team regarding hiring practices, payroll and benefit disbursement
∎ Work closing with the sales and marketing team with regards to building the brand, reaching out and targeting the right customers.
∎ Formulating policies and coordinating business operations.
∎ Oversee quality control throughout the company, establishing goals for each department in partnership with division managers.
∎ Engaging with vendors, identifying business opportunities and monitoring financial activities.
∎ All other duties as directed by the Higher Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ 7-10 years of corporate managerial experience within the Multinational Clothing and Apparel/ Retail environment is a must.
∎ Skills:
∎ Good understanding and experience in Fashion/ Clothing / Retail environment.
∎ Excellent communication skills.
∎ Advanced skills in MS Office and professional accounting software.
∎ Strong ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solve problems quickly and communicate clearly
∎ Leadership skills, including the ability to manage time effectively and handle both internal and external conflicts
∎ Meticulous attention to detail.
∎ Strong work ethic.
∎ Exceptional budgeting and finance skills.
