Responsibilities & Context:

1. Map procurement process and activities as well as implement the policy
2. Develop supplier enlistment method as well as supplier evaluation process
3. Ensure regular market survey to identify potential suppliers based on quality, cost and reliability
4. Attend seminars, national and international fairs and other programs to be updated with dyes & chemical, yarn, trims & accessories and machineries for update on innovation, pricing and technological upgrade
5. Keep the department up-to-date with all government and other non government organization policy/regulations which may impact the supply
6. Ensure all the products are timely available keeping both smooth operation & better fund management in mind
7. Develop process to ensure product quality and traceability
8. Ensure product is delivered with accurate quality, exact quantity and at right time
9. Maintains regular contact with suppliers to ensure support at adverse situations
