- 10-12 years in relevant field and minimum 5 years in managerial position/Head of sales in automobile industry, specially in Motorcycle division.
Responsibilities & Context: - A General Manager (Sales) for motorcycles typically oversees the entire sales operation within a company or a specific region. This role requires a deep understanding of the motorcycle market, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive sales performance.
- Create and implement sales strategies to increase market share and achieve sales targets.
- Lead and manage the sales team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to make informed decisions.
- Stay updated on the latest motorcycle models, features, and technologies.
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction and building long-term relationships.
- Intense competition in the motorcycle industry.
- Good product knowledge regarding automotive products and also have to good market knowledge about whole Bangladesh.
- Plan and develop strategies to acquire new markets, as well as sustaining with the existing customers.
- Generate list of prospective customers for field force and ensure full utilization.
- Able to work with customer, concerned departments to ensure the achievement of monthly/quarterly/yearly sales target by volume/value.
- Good knowledge about brand building and promotional activities like Demo, Road show etc.
- Maintaining relationships with key customers, able to implement innovative promotional campaigns, monitoring market trends and exploring growth opportunities.
- Able to close potential business deals by analyzing strategies, product requirements and relationship.
- Able to maintain and follow compliance strictly.
