Preferred Experience, Knowledge and/or other Qualifications:
At least 3 years’ experience on Grants fund at Field level with an understanding of Gender and Women’s Empowerment Issues.
Experience in Disaster Management (DM) and overall DM technical support at the project level. Understands and complies with the humanitarian code of conduct, different standards such as Red Cross and Red Crescent, SPHERE and Core Humanitarian Accountability
Proven experience as a team player.
Understand WV operation at program level

Understand the Humanitarian industry
Competent in the use of Microsoft Application Program including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
GEnder incluSive Market systems for Improved Nutrition (GESMIN) Project:
Provide technical support in ensuring gender mainstreaming and DRR and Climate Change capacity building for resilience in all project interventions S/he is responsible for overall gender mainstreaming activities, human resource development and management in Sub District and District levels. Besides, s/he will be responsible to document best practices, success stories and lessons learned and prepare quality progress reports at district level and submit them to Project Manager and also World Vision National Office.
Key Deliverables:
Ensure gender mainstreaming across all project activities.
Oversee/Conduct project gender analysis of gender roles, relations and norms, and develop gender-responsive DRR and CCA messaging and training materials.
To develop” MenCare or “Journeys of Transformation” uses evidence-based programming” to educate men about equitable, nonviolent fatherhood and caregiving practices. Group education with fathers and couples challenges inequitable norms, and creates long-term changes in the lives of men, women, and children.
Support the gender and nutrition sensitive value chain analysis.
Deliver trainings on gender-responsive extension and market approaches to local stakeholders.
Using results of gender analysis and other project assessments, lead the development and integration of a project gender strategy that is DRR and CCA sensitive.
Prepare and lead gender focused training for staff and partners, including District, Upazila and Union Disaster Management Committees to ensure gender, DRR and CCA elements are appropriately addressed in all project activities.
Provide technical support to disseminate early warning messages at the community level.
Establish Crop Early Warning System using mobile apps.
Guide and lead team to develop/collect/revised IEC/BCC related materials to the outcomes.
Develop linkages and coordinate with GOs/NGOs/INGOs, local governmental departments and humanitarian agencies at regional level.
Understands the emergency cluster working mechanisms and is experienced in collaborating with UN-lead cluster mechanism in providing need-based support to Upazila in emergency response and recovery phases.
Monitor the implementation of project activities by collecting specific gender and sex disaggregated data through regular field visits, interaction with staff, partners and members of the communities.
Be loyal and guided as per the necessity of the Project and project’s management.
