Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree preferably in any discipline preferably in Social science/Social work / Psychology/. Essential

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible to ensure entire Men Care activities in the project area
∎ Assist the GBV Prevention Officer to ensure all day to day implementation of GBV prevention activities;
∎ Mobilizing community leaders, men, boys, women and girls from the community to participate in GBV prevention activities
∎ plan and observe different campaigns (International women's day, 16 days of activism etc.)
∎ Conduct different discussions/dialogue on GBV, community session
∎ Work with the community and other sector staff to identify GBV risks and share findings on a regular basis to inform to officers to advocacy that all monitoring systems are in place and are functional, and that the feedback from the monitoring system is being utilized to improve program implementation.
∎ Work closely with other project teams and local stakeholders
∎ Support to other component of the project for gender mainstreaming
∎ Support to other component of the project for any gender-related issues
∎ Establish and liaise closely with other partners, agencies and local leaders regarding project activities to ensure a coordinated approach to project implementation, including participation in relevant workshops, meetings and to keep the GBV Deputy Sector Lead informed.
∎ Participate in interagency assessments.
∎ Support to integrate gender into other components of WV
∎ Contribute to prepare different module, guideline and materials for training, awareness session or any other event.
∎ Conduct different training for community women, men, community leaders, religious leaders, boys and girls on GBV prevention and response.
∎ Disseminate information to the community on where and how to report GBV incidences and encourage reporting
∎ Document and share key GBV risks identified during implementation
∎ Engage the community in participatory exercise to develop context specific IEC materials and messages to facilitate community level sessions.
∎ Assist communities identify their priorities, opportunities and resources for effective GBV prevention & response, participation
∎ Organize the awareness raising, campaign event/program in communities' level area coordinating with different stakeholders.

∎ Chittagongian language skills will be taken into consideration. Good command in English & Bengali, both written and verbal. Essential
∎ Decision making and conflict resolution skills. Essential
∎ Competent in using MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint presentation. Preferred
∎ Ability to work under stressful condition and adaptive to local culture and situation. At least 1 year GBV/Gender/relevant work experience. Essential
∎ At least 1 year Men Care/ Male Engagement work experience. Preferred
∎ Must be willing and able to travel in village level on five days in a week.
∎ Project locations are in remote areas in Ukhiya and Teknaf Upazila. Staff must have to live in his/her based location.
