Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor from Recognized University.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical support for garment construction and quality-related issues.
∎ Develop and train technical associates and factories to align with brand technical requirements.
∎ Provide technical advice and support to Merchandising Design Team, factories, overseas designers and vendors.
∎ Responsible for fitting approval, size set, pattern and technical problem-solving.
∎ Risk assessment for development samples. Evaluate the sampling for the production, identify the difficulties may arise during the pre-production and product estimate the efficiency.
∎ Provide technical control, including customer requirements and standards to ensure customer standards and quality are maintained.
∎ Prepare and update garments specs, work out consumption-based on buyer's tech packs.
∎ Reviews/understand buyer's tech packs and comments and explain /advise factory Technical Team for the development of samples accordingly.
∎ Work on set target to fits/PP sample and minimizing rejection, approval of the samples on a 1st-time basis.
∎ Evaluate workmanship, quality, and construction of garments samples, to determine the correctness.
∎ Checking the conformity of the garments (workmanship, styling, fitting, specifications of the product)
∎ Identify and correct pattern problems.
∎ Provide instructions to factories on pattern making/ grading/ fabrications, make-up and workmanship.
∎ Follow-up of sample approval from development samples to shipment samples.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience differents kinds of Ladies Top Making.
∎ Must have thorough knowledge and understanding about the technical aspects of Garments in the area of the pattern, sample making, fitting on life mode and sewing for intimate apparel).
∎ Must be able to work out consumption of garments based on tech packs, provide remedial advice on detected discrepancies with regard to workmanship and construction of garments, and also, in case of fabric on issues like shading, weaving defects, etc.
∎ Should have basic communications skills in both written and spoken English and Bengali.
∎ Should be proficient in the use of the computer, especially MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.
∎ Able to forecast/ identify problems and find quick solutions
∎ Good in Excel/ Word & Outlook.
∎ Written and spoken English is compulsory.
