∎ Minimum Graduate from any University

Experience Requirements:
∎ 6 to 7 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Technologist will be mainly responsible for: Technical control of Garment and approval.
∎ Have to work in Technical side like shrinkage, wash test, pattern & sample
∎ Monitor the sample quality (styling, measurement, dummy fitting, shrinkage etc), and ensure all technical aspects are fully complied with buyer requirement
∎ Monitor in Sample making according to tech pack/last comment.
∎ Assist in Garment costing consumption, pattern development & grading as required
∎ Work on cost reduction by achieving optimum efficiency of CAD and marker
∎ The role is responsible for managing technical aspects of quality assurance activities
∎ Follow-up for pattern test sample measurements check (before and after wash) to correct the final pattern.
∎ Conducting PP meetings, time to time in-line checks in the factory to ensure the products meet the required quality and standard.
∎ Visiting producer's place
∎ 1st output check randomly if suppliers are following PP meeting instruction
∎ Check very carefully for fabric shrinkage and first output garment shrinkage together with measurements and report to CM and HQ.
∎ Due to small quantity orders, he need to careful for a smaller number of wastages from first bulk to meet actual quantity shipment.
∎ Shade checking, GSM checking randomly in production and compare with PP sample
∎ Join training program together with QA and Merchandiser for new suppliers about BIG STAR working procedures and quality expectation.
∎ Inline Inspection (Measurement, Shrinkage & Fit) during factory visit as per PP meeting comment.
∎ Wash test for all models in in-house lab facility.
∎ Additional JOB assigned by supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 6-7years in similar position.
∎ Must have experience in Technical and Quality
∎ Good numerical and analytical skills
∎ Good communication & interpersonal skills
∎ Should be a good team player
∎ Strong experience over wash garments and shrinkage control
∎ Must have knowledge over Lab testing
∎ Should have hands-on experience for Garment production process.
∎ Should have always pro-activeness to learn new things and adopt with new company policy.
∎ Having excellent product knowledge with capacity of handling very demanding and renowned customers
∎ Conversant with handling world famous European demanding customers
∎ Able to anticipate problems and provide constructive solutions
∎ Proficient in both written and spoken English
∎ Having excellent e-mail communication skill with MS office operation.
∎ Must be dynamic, energetic, self-motivated, and self-organized with a positive attitude
∎ Should have strong knowledge about (Fabric, Print/Embroidery & washing)
∎ Having valid passport and able to travel abroad.
