Responsibilities & Context:
We are a Bangladesh-based menswear company working with high-end, luxury products. We are seeking an experienced freelance fashion designer to collaborate with us on a remote-only, project-based basis for our upcoming menswear projects.
This role is ideal for designers who understand premium craftsmanship, luxury detailing, and production-ready execution.
Scope of Work
🧵 Develop professional menswear design concepts aligned with a premium/luxury brand identity
🎨 Create multiple design variations for the same product (commercial & high-end versions)
🧶 Suggest and select appropriate fabrics, trims, and finishes to achieve the best quality output
📐 Prepare complete tech packs (measurements, construction details, stitching, trims, BOM)
🖌️ Design or guide artwork, prints, embroidery, and branding elements where required
📏 Provide accurate size measurements, grading, and fit guidelines suitable for both local and international standards
🧠 Translate our initial ideas and references into production-ready designs
🏭 Coordinate remotely with our internal team and manufacturers to ensure design feasibility and quality consistency.
Requirements
👔 Proven experience in menswear design (high-end / premium segment preferred)
🧵 Strong understanding of fabric selection (woven, knit, luxury blends, seasonal fabrics)
📄 Hands-on experience creating factory-ready tech packs
🏭 Familiarity with Bangladesh manufacturing standards (knit & woven)
⏱️ Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a startup environment
💻 Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design tools
🗣️ Clear communication skills in English (Bangla preferred)
