• Strong technical knowledge of knit fabric behavior and finishing machinery (Stenter, Compactor, Dryer, etc.)
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong problem-solving ability and process optimization mindset
• Good record-keeping and reporting skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery commitments
• Minimum 12 years of experience in knit fabric finishing operations
• At least 5 years of experience as Head of Finishing / Finishing In-charge / Finishing Manager

• Oversee daily finishing operations, production schedules, and ensure on-time delivery of finished fabrics.
• Ensure full compliance with buyer specifications, including shrinkage, GSM, fabric width, hand feel, and overall appearance.
• Implement strong in-process quality control checks and identify & resolve finishing defects to maintain consistent fabric quality.
• Set, monitor, and control machine parameters for stenter, compactor, dryer, and other finishing machines based on fabric type and buyer requirements.
• Improve Right-First-Time (RFT) yield by optimizing finishing processes and minimizing reprocessing.
• Coordinate with Dyeing, Quality, and Planning teams to ensure smooth production flow and quality consistency.
• Ensure preventive and routine maintenance of finishing equipment, minimizing breakdowns and downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, energy consumption, and overall finishing cost.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records, and prepare daily/weekly performance reports for management review.
• Lead, guide, and motivate finishing team members, ensuring safe, efficient, and disciplined shop-floor operations.
