Job Location:

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Decision Support -

  • Prepare monthly/quarterly cost reports (production cost per unit, yield analysis, overhead absorption). 

  • Provide feedback to generate automated financial dashboards for factory performance tracking.

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for manufacturing operations. 

 Cost Control & Factory Expense Monitoring -

  • Implement cost control measures to optimize production expenses (direct/indirect costs). 

  • Analyze factory overheads, labor efficiency, and material wastage for cost-saving opportunities. -

  • Monitor actual vs. budgeted cost variances and recommend corrective actions. 

 Inventory & Material Cost Management -

  • Maintain accurate inventory costing (FIFO, weighted average) and track material usage efficiency. 

  • Analyze scrap rates, rework costs, and procurement variances to improve efficiency. 

  • Work with procurement to evaluate supplier pricing and negotiate cost-effective deals. 

 Supply Chain & Commercial Team Collaboration -

  • Work with commercial/sales teams to provide financial insights for pricing strategies. -

  • Support supply chain optimization (logistics costs, MOQ trade-offs, working capital impact). 

  • Evaluate make-vs-buy decisions and outsourcing feasibility from a cost perspective.  

Working Capital & Cash Flow Management -

  • Monitor and optimize working capital (receivables, payables, inventory turnover). 

  • Prepare cash flow projections and ensure sufficient liquidity for operations. 

 Process Improvement & Automation -

  • Identify opportunities for process automation in financial reporting & data analysis. 

  • Implement ERP/accounting system enhancements for better financial tracking. 

  • Streamline financial reporting to reduce manual work and improve accuracy. 

 Tax & Compliance Analysis -

  • Analyze income tax, VAT, and statutory liabilities for compliance. -

  • Assist in tax planning to minimize liabilities while adhering to laws. 

 Risk Management & Internal Controls -

  • Assess financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.

  • Strengthen internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure reporting accuracy. 

 Audit & Regulatory Support -

  • Assist in internal/external audits (factory expenses, inventory valuation). 

  • Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and other accounting standards. 

 Feasibility & Investment Analysis -

  • Conduct feasibility studies for new projects/expansion.

  • Evaluate investment opportunities and perform ROI analysis. 

 Company Valuation & Financial Health Assessment -

  • Perform business valuation (DCF, comparable). 

  • Assess financial health (ratio analysis, liquidity, solvency, profitability). 

 Ad-Hoc Financial Projects -

  • Support M&A analysis, restructuring, or fundraising.

  • Perform sensitivity analysis & stress testing. 

  • Conduct scrap/waste reduction analysis. 

  • Assist in CAPEX justification for machinery/process upgrades. 

  • Stay updated on market trends, regulations, and economic factors.
