Experience:
Educational & Professional Requirements
Masters in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration (professional qualification likes CA-CC will be preferred).
3-4 years’ work experience in Finance in NGO/INGO. At least 2 years’ experience in the similar job in Cox’s Bazar will be preferred.
Experienced in preparation of various FD as per NGOAB requirements.
Experienced in preparation of VAT-Tax schedule, report as per NBR requirements.
Skills & Competencies Proficiency
in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
knowledge of accounting software (e.g.,Tally/QuickBooks)preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills in Bangla and English (written and verbal).High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
Duties and Responsibilities are included but not limited to;
Maintain accurate financial records for Cox’s Bazar sub-office.
Preparation of monthly/yearly financial reports, project financial report and submit them to Country Office.
Preparation of employee’s monthly payroll with accurate Tax calculation
Prepare and review invoice following MHIB policy and procedures
Petty Cash Management of Cox’s bazar sub office
Preparation of Monthly bank reconciliation and all correspondence with bank
Ensure timely processing of payments, staff advances, and settlements.
Monitor expenditure against approved budgets and ensure donor/organizational compliance.
Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and schedule.
Safeguard financial assets through proper cash handling and reconciliations.
Prepare project budgets in coordination with programme and Country Finance Team.
Preparation of Budget vs Actual (BvA) analysis on a monthly basis and share the reports with management.
Monitor budget utilization throughout the project cycle and flag any over/under spending.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor regulations, and government requirements
Support Admin & Procurement department to maintain the compliances
Any other tasks assigned by line manager or MHIB management
