Job Context:
∎ New Hope Agrotech Bangladesh Ltd.-looking for some energetic, enthusiastic candidates for their feed items in the agro-based market. Candidates who have really good experience in the feed industry will get extra privileges. We are looking for hardworking & dedicated people.
∎ We are looking for an experienced Finance Officer to perform Financial audits, Budget & Budgetary Control, IFRS, IAS, Income Tax & VAT & the Companies Act.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the preparation of periodical financial statements with accuracy and quality within the deadline and ensure that those comply with concerning regulatory bodies.
∎ Maintain all financial records and books of accounts and preserved supporting documents.
∎ Ensure monthly compliance with all TDS and VDS regulations.
∎ Provide different types of reports to the management regarding Monthly balance sheet report, Budget sheet & Inventory report, Half-yearly and yearly group audit report, consolidation report, etc.
∎ Maintain Petty cash, party ledger, monthly basis actual provision and settlement as well as inventory management and year-end stock taking.
∎ Prepare and maintain all types of vouchers, cash books, payroll entries, bill registers, ledgers & different registers related to Finance
∎ Have to perform other duties and responsibilities as when assigned by the superiors.
∎ Ensuring adequate control structures over transfer and investment of funds.
∎ Tax management - Corporate Tax, Employee Tax, and VAT.
∎ Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile.
∎ Monitor all open legal issues relating to financial matters.
∎ Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies.
∎ Meet the requirements of the regulatory authority (Bangladesh bank) regarding internal control, compliance and internal audit; provide suitable directions and leadership to the audit and inspection unit, monitoring unit and compliance unit; statutory audit (CA firms).
∎ Submit a report to the Chairman, Managing Director, and Audit Committee periodically with the assurance that the risk-based audit concept is being implemented effectively and the company's assets & liabilities and other factors are free from risks to a great extent.
∎ Oversee employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximizing a cost-effective benefits package.
