∎ Line Manager: Finance Manager
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Mission:
∎ At his/her assigned base level, the Finance Manager Assistant supports the Finance Manager in the processing of accounting/Finance operations
∎
∎ Main Responsibilities:
∎
∎ Administrative management of personnel:
∎
∎ Welcome and participate in finance briefing of new personnel
∎ Assist the finance manager for the management of recruitment
∎ Participate in the organization of training
∎ Calculate taxes and duties and create payment records for the relevant organization
∎
∎ Team management:
∎
∎ Train and support team members under his or her supervision
∎ Ensure the minimal replacement of members of the finance in case of absence (days of, sickness etc.)
∎
∎ Treasury / accounting / management:
∎
∎ Supervise the physical maintenance and safety of cash boxes when the finance officer is not present
∎ Prepare monthly closing, revision and integrity of accounts for the base
∎ Issue vouchers, supervise archiving of records
∎ Participate in audits or any checks issued by partners or head office, at the base level
∎ Participate in the consolidation of budget follow ups and cash forecasts at the base level
∎ Monitor due dates for payments of contracts managed by the finance manager
∎ Ensure bills checking for suppliers at the base level.
∎ Ensure the preparation of tax payments on a monthly basis and the follow up the customs office
∎ Prepare cash request from the base to be sent the coordination
∎ Assist the finance manager to prepare the OFU and LFU for monthly update (SAGA Extraction) and send them to PMs and the logistic managers.
∎ Assist to finance manager update the allocation board on a monthly basis (HR part) and consolidate the AB for the base with the logistic part.
∎ Archive accounting records according to solidarites procedures after a final verification of receipts etc
∎ Guarantee security of the cash and confidentiality of information
∎
∎ Reporting / communication:
∎ Participate in supervision of regulations in effect
∎ Support finance mananger in relations with administrative authorities
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum of 2 years professional experience in working with Donor funded NGO/INGO.
∎ Good communication skills, with good written and spoken English.
∎ Computer literacy in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of using Excel formula can be added value.
∎ Proficiency on local language can be an added value
∎ Working knowledge on SAGA will be and added advantage.
Salary:
∎ Monthly Salary: BDT 58700/-
